I am Julie, an ecologist and a holistic herbalist, working in the native habitats of Southern California for over 20 years. Early in my career my connection with nature was left brain oriented and science dominated having received a M.S. in Ecology. My relationship with nature and Mother Earth changed when I began to study herbalism and was awakened to the spirit of nature and the role of plants as our teachers. My practice blends scientific principles with spiritual and energetic practices to help my clients develop a greater sense of wholeness and connection. For the last decade, I have practiced within the western herbal medicine tradition having received training through the Self-Heal School of Herbal Studies & Healing, Sage Country Herbs, the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, the Flower Essence Society, and the Divine Oneness Professional Healing Training Program.
